Ann Kinder

Ann is the managing partner of Donnelly & Kinder. She graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 1992 with an Honours Degree in Law. She was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 1993 and practiced as a Barrister for three years. Ann was involved mainly in personal injury litigation and family law cases. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 1997 and became a founding partner of Donnelly & Kinder in 2001.

 

Ann has experience in general litigation, particularly Chancery cases. She also specialises in all non-contentious matters such as conveyancing, wills, probate, care of the vulnerable and elderly (to include Enduring Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Controllership Orders and Equity Release Schemes).


Ann was a member of the Council of the Law Society of Northern Ireland from 2007-2011. She is a former Chairman of the Education Committee of the Law Society, in addition to having chaired the Human Rights, Equality & Rule of Law Committee and the Library Committee. Ann has also been a member of the Non Contentious Business Committee and the Family Law Committee. She is an External Examiner to the Institute of Professional Legal Studies QUB, a Module Reviewer of the Property Course and a practitioner tutor. Ann is a Law Society of Northern Ireland appointee to the Council of Legal Education. She is also a member of the Elder Law Group of the Law Society of Northern Ireland.
