School Admissions for SEN pupils
- If your child has a Statement of Special Educational Needs, the placement of a child by the Education Authority can be challenged by appealing to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST).
- If you are unhappy with the school that your child has been admitted to, an appeal can be lodged within two months of the notification letter of the Education Authority’s decision.
Statutory Assessments - Statement of Educational Needs
- If your child has been refused a Statutory Assessment we can challenge this decision
- If you child has been granted a Note in Lieu we can assess the merits of challenging this to the Tribunal (SENDIST)
