If your child has been discriminated against due to a disability our team at Donnelly & Kinder in Belfast can guide you through the process of Appealing or Judicially Reviewing decisions/actions of the Education Authority
If you believe your child has been subject to discrimination within the classroom or in the school setting, an action can be brought to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST).
An action can be brought within six months of the discriminatory act. Through the guidance of solicitors at Donnelly & Kinder, we can review the circumstances of the incident, apply to the criteria sent out by the Tribunal, and advise on the merits of a claim. We will help prepare the application and can provide legal representation at the SENDIST Tribunal.
